Senior Field Applications Engineer |
|
The Senior Field Applications Engineer will work closely with sales, engineering and customers to determine customer design requirements, demonstrate and promote the adoption of Sidense's Logic NVM™ IP, and facilitate the integration of the IP in advanced ICs. This position will influence the development of innovative memory technologies by working closely with customer R&D groups to identify new features and solutions for next generation products.

Education:
- BS Electrical Engineering (MS Preferred).
Required Experience:
- 10 + years of field applications engineering experience in semiconductors, SOC design, semiconductor IP, or EDA.
- Familiarity with front-end and back-end design flows.
- Proven self-starter with the ability to listen and the ability to ask probing questions.
- Motivated, capable of working as an individual contributor and as a team player.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
Desired Experience
- Experience in a start-up or small company environment.
- 5 + years of SOC design experience.
- Knowledge of semiconductor memories, memory IP, non-volatile memories.
- Experience in sales or customer support situations
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with account managers to identify opportunities and help develop winning sales strategies.
- Work with customers to understand their design requirements and create solutions.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for the company's products including presentations, demonstrations, proposals, training, and trade shows.
- Communicate customer requirements and feedback from sales engagements to engineering and marketing teams.
- Solve customer issues directly and/or consult with engineering as necessary.
- Create technical documentation such as applications notes, product datasheets, product briefs, and white papers.
- Perform competitive analyses and conduct product benchmarks.
- Work with engineering and sales to define new products.
- Some travel is required.
