Embedded NVM, also known as Logic NVM, has garnered a lot of attention over the past couple of years within the chip design community as a way of storing data and code on an SoC. One particular segment of Logic NVM, one-time programmable (OTP) memory, has been of particular interest, with several vendors, including Sidense, of course, developing novel OTP technology for embedded memory IP providing various characteristics such as high security, low cost, small area and long retention times.
