Sidense Surpasses 100 Customers and Achieves Best Year Ever

  • Fiscal year ends with record bookings, wide market coverage and strong patent portfolio.

Ottawa, Canada – (October 16, 2012) Sidense Corp., a leading developer of Logic Non-Volatile Memory (LNVM) one-time programmable (OTP) memory IP cores, has announced that it has licensed its 1T-OTP memory IP to the Company's 100th customer. The company also achieved the best fiscal year ending September 30th, with the highest bookings in the Company's history. Additionally, Sidense has built a strong antifuse patent portfolio, backing its 1T-OTP as a preferred antifuse NVM technology choice across the semiconductor industry.

Sidense Defeats Kilopass' Remaining Claims; Kilopass' Case is Over

  • After granting Sidense summary judgment of non-infringement on Kilopass' patent claims, the Court today dismissed Kilopass' remaining claims with prejudice and entered Judgment in favor of Sidense

Ottawa, Canada – (October 3, 2012) Sidense Corp., a leading developer of Logic Non-Volatile Memory (LNVM) OTP IP cores, today announced that the United States District Court for the Northern District of California dismissed with prejudice all of Kilopass' remaining business tort claims against Sidense. With the Court's recent decision granting Sidense summary judgment of non-infringement, this ruling terminates the entire Kilopass case. The Sidense victory is complete.

Sidense Licenses 1T-OTP to Exar

  • Exar using Sidense's SiPROM NVM macro in Connectivity product line

Ottawa, Canada – (September 11, 2012) Sidense Corp., a leading developer of Logic Non-Volatile Memory (LNVM) one-time programmable (OTP) memory IP cores, has announced that Exar has licensed its 1T-OTP memory IP. Exar, a provider of high-performance analog mixed-signal integrated circuits and advanced sub-system solutions, is using Sidense's SiPROM OTP in their Connectivity product line. The 1T-OTP SiPROM helps enable in-system, field programmability of user settings and storage of configuration information in a very small footprint.

Sidense wins patent infringement case against Kilopass

  • The Court finds that there is no genuine dispute of material fact that Sidense's technology does not infringe

Ottawa, Canada – (August 17, 2012) Sidense Corp., a leading developer of Logic Non-Volatile Memory (LNVM) OTP IP cores, announced today that the United States District Court for the Northern District of California granted Sidense's motion for summary judgment of non-infringement of all three Kilopass patents asserted in the lawsuit. The Court determined that no reasonable jury could find that Sidense infringed any claim of Kilopass' asserted patents. This is a resounding victory for Sidense and Kilopass will not be permitted to present its patent infringement claims to a jury.

Sidense Licenses 1T-OTP to Toumaz Microsystems for GLOBALFOUNDRIES 65nm Low-Power Process

Ottawa, Canada – (March 13, 2012) Sidense Corp., a leading developer of Logic Non-Volatile Memory (LNVM) one-time programmable (OTP) memory IP cores, has announced that it has fully qualified its 1T-OTP macros for GLOBALFOUNDRIES' 65nm LPe (low-power) process and has licensed OTP macros to Toumaz Microsystems for this process.

  • Sidense memory for TSMC's 65nm process helps Aptina provide customers with superior imaging technology

Ottawa, Canada – (February 21, 2012) Sidense Corp., a leading developer of Logic Non-Volatile Memory (LNVM) one-time programmable (OTP) memory IP cores, announced that Aptina, a leading provider of CMOS image sensors and camera modules, is using Sidense's field-programmable 1T-OTP memory macros for several image sensor and camera module products for the mobile, consumer, automotive and surveillance markets. Developed for use at TSMC's 65nm low-power (LP) process node, the 1T-OTP macros provide a reliable and flexible memory solution in a small footprint to support calibration and optimization of image sensors in a chip, module or system environment.

Sidense Enjoys Best Quarter in its History

 
  • Company's 1T-OTP bookings at an all-time high; first customer licensed for TSMC 28nm process.

 

Ottawa, Canada – (January 18, 2012) Sidense Corp., a leading developer of Logic Non-Volatile Memory (LNVM) one-time programmable (OTP) memory IP cores, announced its bookings over the quarter ending December 31, 2011, the first quarter of Sidense's Fiscal Year 2012, were the highest in the Company's history. Sidense has also licensed to customers the first commercially available 1T antifuse one-time programmable (OTP) non-volatile memory (NVM) macros at 28nm. This includes a customer using TSMC's 28nm HPL process.
