Executive Opinion:
Working with the Top Foundries to Qualify 1T-OTP for our Customers

Rhéal Gervais, Vice President of Operations, Sidense

Over the last calendar year, Sidense has announced the availability of several one-transistor, one-time-programmable (1T-OTP) memory macros that have passed stringent quality assessment criteria with the leading foundries. These macros have included our 180nm SLP and ULP product families through TSMC's IP9000 program and full qualification with GLOBALFOUNDRIES, as well as SLP qualification at UMC. They also include SiPROM macros at TSMC in 130nm, 110nm and 90nm, GLOBALFOUNDRIES at the 65nm G and LPe and UMC at 110nm and 55nm process nodes. We will be announcing more products in the coming months as they complete the foundry qualification processes.

Outside Thoughts:
People & Devices - Continuously Connected

By Mike Kaskowitz, Managing Director, Infinitedge

We live in an unprecedented time of connectivity and mobility. Whereas only a few years ago the Internet was primarily used to connect computers, the advent and rapid expansion of smartphone use and Internet video has changed this landscape forever. The sum of all forms of video (TV, video on demand, Internet, and peer-to-peer communication) will account for over 91 percent of global consumer Internet traffic by 2013. Next year, Internet video is forecasted to be nearly 700 times the entire U.S. Internet backbone of 2000 and will generate over 18 Exabytes of data per month. Globally, mobile data traffic will double every year from 2008 through 2013, increasing 66 times and reaching over 2 Terabytes per month by 2013.
